23 Apr Intermittent Closures: Sutro St. and Oddie Blvd. Begins April 25

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and Granite Construction will implement a new traffic pattern with lane closures at along Wells Avenue between Sutro Street and Ninth Street starting Thursday, April 25.

The south side closure from Sutro St. to Ninth St. is expected to last until, Wednesday May 15.

Traffic will remain open on Wells Avenue one way in each direction on the left side or southbound lanes while work takes place on the northbound lanes.

Southbound and northbound traffic on Sutro Street will detour at Ninth Street.

Currently in Phase 4 of construction, this RTC-sponsored multimodal improvement project is revitalizing the area by creating a safer corridor from the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Pyramid Way in Sparks to the Wells Avenue and I-80 intersection in Reno.
