22 Nov Montello Street Intersection Closure – Updated

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and Granite construction will close access to Montello Street at the Oddie Boulevard intersection starting Monday, October 9. The north side of Oddie Boulevard is expected to be closed until Wednesday, November 29. The south side of the intersection is already closed and will reopen upon further notice.

Crews are closing access while they do traffic signal work as part of Phase 3 of the Oddie Wells Project which requires them to turn off the Montello Street signal.

Traffic along Oddie Boulevard will continue on one lane in each direction.

The RTC is reminding the traveling public to use extra caution in and around the construction zone, to follow the speed limit for everyone’s safety, to plan their trips ahead of time, and to take their preferred alternate routes.
