08 Aug Oddie Wells Project Update: August 8, 2023

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is continuing construction on the Oddie Wells Project and is advising the community of upcoming traffic control changes due to ongoing construction activity for Phase 3 of the Oddie Wells project.

Beginning Thursday August, 10, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. the public will experience closures of the US 395 northbound and southbound ramps at Oddie Blvd. The ramps will momentarily re-open on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 5:30 a.m.

The ramps closure will resume on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. and will be in effect thru Monday, August 14, 2023 at 5:00 a.m.

Below is a map which provides a graphic demonstration of the impacted areas. The traveling public is advised to plan ahead for the alternative routes as advised, particularly as the closures coincide with the weekend.

Motorists will be able to access the northbound and southbound on-ramps of US 395 via McCarran Blvd; the US 395 southbound traffic will be detoured to the off-ramp at Clear Acre/McCarran Exit 70.
