Oddie Wells Project Update: Intermittent Road Closures this Month

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is continuing construction on the Oddie Wells Project and is advising the community of upcoming traffic control changes due to ongoing construction activity and paving operations for Phase 2 of the Oddie Wells project.

Beginning Friday, June 16, 2023, the public will experience intermittent road closures on the northern portion of Oddie Blvd., along the intersections of Silverada Blvd., El Rancho Dr. and Sullivan Ln. The RTC reminds everyone to account for extra time in their travel plans, and to pay close attention to the detour routes as they will vary throughout this period. 

The road closure will be in effect thru the end of June. Attached is a map which provides a graphic demonstration of the impacted areas. The public is reminded to use extra caution in and around the construction zone and follow the speed limit for everyone’s safety.
